A Louisiana native, Gary received his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University College of Business, and his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School.  He practiced locally in New Orleans following graduation before joining Murphy Rogers, and then became a director of the firm. 

Gary maintains a wide-ranging practice that includes experience in complex commercial litigation, personal injury and death claims, products liability actions, maritime collisions, class action litigation, as well as property and commercial disputes. He also represents various clients in commercial as well as property negotiations, and is experienced in handling environmental matters. Gary routinely handles litigation in a variety of forums throughout the nation, and he has experience with U.S. and international arbitration actions.

Gary has handled numerous high-profile cases, earning write-ups in publications including The Atlantic, the Wall Street Journal, and New York Times. He is perennially recognized by multiple organizations as a top-tier litigator. He is civically active, having served on numerous boards, promoted legislation and appropriations for the developmentally disabled, and advocated for multiple worthy causes before the Louisiana Legislature, Congress, and other governmental bodies.
