Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Brittney obtained her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans. Leaving New Orleans to attend law school, Brittney completed her law degree at Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center where she received her Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law in 2020. During law school, Brittney was a member of the Journal of Civil Law Studies and served as an officer in several organizations. She also participated in a number of Trial Advocacy and Negotiation Competitions. After graduation, she returned to her hometown to clerk for the Honorable Marilyn C. Castle in the 15th Judicial District Court. Upon completion of her clerkship, Brittney returned to New Orleans and joined Murphy Rogers in 2021.

As a part of the Murphy Rogers team, Brittney’s practice focuses on the areas of maritime personal injury defense, general casualty and insurance litigation, marine insurance coverage issues, maritime contract disputes, employment disputes, and workers’ compensation.

Brittney is a member of the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Associations, as well as the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
